Fairytale Stuff

Fairytales from all around the world have been passed down before history was recorded.
The origin of fairytales is uncertain because fairytales started out being told orally, so they cannot be traced.
Though specific dates cannot be acquired, fairytales are believed to have dated back thousands of years ago.
For those of you who are unsure of what a fairytale is, it is a category for stories that contain magical elements and may contain “magical” creatures.
Fairytales should not be confused with folklores or legends which are believed to be possibly exaggerated stories that stem from events that may have actually happened.
Contrary to popular belief, every fairytale does not contain the phrases “Once upon a time…” and “…and they lived happily ever after”. With that in mind, every fairytale does not end too happily. In fact, many of the fairytales that you know to end happily did not originally end that way.
